Thanksgiving weekend - I went on a road trip to the four corners, Mesa Verde National Park,
the Great Sand Dunes National Park, Lake Como Road, Telluride, and Gunnison. Many pictures coming soon.

10.26.2004 My 30th Birthday
10.10.2004 Had a busy weekend with events in Colorado Springs and Estes Park. We attended an event for Daedra's work
on Friday night and went to my friend Kendall's wedding in Estes Park on Sat. On Sunday we went to the famous (haunted) Stanley Hotel but
didn't see any ghosts. We also spent the day in Rocky Mountain National Park. More pictures HERE

9.18.2004 Went for a hike at Golden Gate Canyon State Park - Me, Abby, and Daedra - Abby made it 2.2 miles!
9.12.2004 End of summer - It has been a busy hiking summer for me. So far I have logged 104.45 miles this year
obtaining 33,855 ft (6.41 miles) of elevation gain. I have hiked 8 14,000ft peaks, including Mt Elbert - the second
highest peak in the continental US, bringing my total for the last 2 years to 13. There are 54 14,000ft peaks (14ers)
in Colorado. I still have quite a few to complete. Most of the peaks have been quite difficult. Yesterday was my first
14er combo and it was a 12 hour hiking day. But the summits are rewarding and the weather this
summer has been spectacular for hiking. Abby had a fairly quiet summer. She took swimming lessons to
learn to swim and is still practicing riding her bike. We did a few short hikes and plan to do a few more before it turns cold.
9.11.2004 Hiked a 14er combination today - Mt Shavano (14,229 ft) and Tabeguache Peak (14,155 ft)
I have now completed 13 of Colorado's 14,000 peaks.

Labor Day weekend 2004 - Abby and I hung out in CO Springs - Went to the balloon classic.
08.28.2004 Hiked San Luis Peak with Daedra - This was my 11th 14,000ft peak and Daedra's 14th.

08.14.2004 Hiked Mt Huron today with Daedra. Huron is my 10th 14,000 ft peak. Huron is 14,003ft and the 52nd highest 14er.
08.08.2004 Had a picnic and went for a hike at Mueller State Park - Me, Abby, and Daedra. Pictures are in Abby's section.

07.31.2004 Hiked Mt Bierstadt with Daedra. Bierstadt is 14,060ft and the 38th highest peak in CO.
The was my 9th 14,000 peak.
07.30.2004 Hiked Grays peak today. Gray's is 14,270ft and the 9th highest peak in CO. This was my 8th 14,000 ft peak.
07.25.2004 Abby and I went to CO Springs and Daedra took us to the zoo.
07.20.2004 The site has been up for 1 year! There are currently 820 pictures on this website! Also I had an amazing date tonight with Daedra
whom I met at Mt Yale last weekend, we had front row tickets to Sarah Mclachlan at the Pepsi Center. Awesome concert! Like an idiot I
didn't bring my camera, what was I thinking?
07.17.2004 Hiked Mt Yale. Mt Yale is 14,196 ft and is the 21st highest peak in CO. 4,200 ft of elevation gain and 8.1 miles.

07.11.2004 Hiked Mt Elbert. Mt Elbert is the highest mountain in Colorado at 14,440 ft and the second highest mountain in the
contiguous 48 states. 3800 ft of elevation gain, 7 hours and 8.3 miles round trip. Pictures are in the picture gallery.
07.10.2004 Entered the KBCO cover art contest for their Studio C CD but wasn't selected as a finalist - I got robbed! Damn hippies..

05.22.2004 Went camping and hiking near Lake Granby with Jeff. We hiked the knight ridge trail = 13 miles from Lake Granby to
Grand Lake. I posted quite a few pictures here.
05.20.2004 I bought a Land Rover discovery today. Why you might ask? Well I think this sign I saw recently says it all. Don't
expect to ever see it this clean again :)

05.14.2004 Went camping and hiking near Terryall Reservoir. Had an awesome secluded camping spot and the trailhead
was very cool.
05.08.2004 Abby and I went for a short hike today at Maxwell falls. We didn't make it to the falls but it was a fun day.
04.28.2004 Jeff and I went to the Avs game - we won in OT. (we better win for $200 a seat!)

02.05.2004 I bought a new condo today! (Well they accepted my offer anyway, haven't closed yet) It's 2 bedroom - 2 Bath
about 1100 Square Feet.

01.08.2004 Tonight I saw a classical pianist named Christopher O'Riley. Like me, O'Riley is a huge fan of the British
Band Radiohead. He rewrote a bunch of Radioheads' music for the piano. I went to see him play a very rare live show here in Denver.
It was all Radiohead songs on the piano and it blew my mind! Amazing!
